The Jackson Family's Inspirational Story on Autism Approved TV

A family unites to bring hope and healing!

The Jackson Family Pulls Together
I LOVE it when a family pulls together for the sake of their child.  I was so inspired by the Jackson Family who united to embrace and encourage their son, Charlie, who was diagnosed with autism.  They used the Son-Rise program which focuses on love, acceptance and the belief in Charlie’s potential to learn and grow.  As a result, they’ve watched a miracle as Charlie has continued to see recovery progress with this program.  This family truly touched me as they shared their personal experiences of having a child with autism and how unlocking Charlie’s potential gave them the strength and determination to help other families with their story.  Watch and spend a day with the Jackson Family!

Great new video! Dr. Allen T. Lewis on Autism Approved!

Interview of a brilliant doctor with a big heart!

It is amazing when you meet a doctor whose heart is clearly a major driving force in his work.  I was very moved by Dr. Allen T. Lewis’ passion to help people.  His own son was diagnosed with autism and it changed the course of Dr. Lewis’ life from that day forward.  He’s been working with children for over 20 years and has found great success using integrative medicine and targeted nutrient therapy to help in the recovery of children not only with autism, but also behavioral disorders as well.  This is a wonderful interview and a must see for learning and inspiration!

Check out this awesome interview about optometry breakthroughs and autism!

So, what can a top expert in opthamology tell us about treating autism?   Watch this interview and see!  I loved this interview with the very passionate and inspiring Dr. Jeffrey Becker.  Dr. Becker is a graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry and has been trained in biomedical interventions for autism.   He lectures internationally about vision therapy, autism and rehabilitation.  Dr. Becker has authored articles about vision therapy appearing in AutismFile magazine and he contributed to the book, Cutting Edge Therapies for Autism.  I was able to learn a lot from him and he even showed me some great examples using prism glasses in the interview! See what we've been up to lately!

Want to see what Enzymedica’s Autism Cause Relations Department has been up to lately ;)

Take a peek at our video blog here!

We have been travelling the country and beyond spreading hope and awareness for autism!  We’ve been speaking on panels, lecturing and guest speaking with other inspirational advocates, all for the cause.  The conferences have been great and at the US Asperger and Autism conference and the National Autism Association Conference we were fortunate enough to be able to film for our Internet TV show called: Autism Approved. We have been able to interview some top experts in the autism community. Please check out www.voiceamerica.TV and look under health and wellness and check out our show.

With 1 out 91 children (between the ages of 3 to 17) being diagnosed today, it is a great honor to represent Enzymedica on the front lines to offer tools and resources to families who are in great need for education. As a mom myself of a son with autism I feel it is a privilege to help the autism community in any way we can. Our kiddos are getting better at any age and together we can make a difference!

Destined for greatness!

Autism is not a death sentence! My son is full of life, love and humor! Reminding all to celebrate ALL that our children CAN do and not look at what they can't. I remember holding my son the day he was born and knowing he was destined for greatness! I am so proud of ALL of my son's accomplishments! He (and so many others like him) work harder than anyone I know!

Reminding myself...

My grandmother would always say you can't make sense of nonsense and I remind myself that today. I will continue to trust in mankind even when faced with those that have thrown things at me as it will make my future choices on those I surround myself with wiser. Reminding myself the most important thing at the end of the day is my son & none of this other stuff truly matters (his smile and kiss make it all better)...

Leap of faith!

Not being afraid to jump off the waterfall. We have such a short time on this earth and I don't want to be afraid anymore. Who cares what people say or think. Live each day the best you know how! Working on this myself....
